My show The Cutting Edge will be a fun, fresh and fantastic way to take a lighter look at life in Leek! I live in Cheddleton with my gorgeous wife and two children. Join me 6-8pm, Monday to Thursday every week on Lasar.||A run-down of the big news and sport stories and big names in the news this week! |“THE DOC” Pete Leese is no stranger to studio work having been a professional gigging singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist for more than 5 decades.
Until his retirement in 2014 he worked fulltime for 43 years for a local Building Society and brings not only his musical knowledge but considerable business, administrative and technical ability to the station.
He has a wide knowledge of music, in general specialising in Blues Music.
|A leek lad, who grew up in leek and attended leek high school. A songwriter, musician and performer. Seth has performed all over the world from India to Puerto Rico and has gained a lot of experience in the live music industry for over ten years. Seth has a passion for Leek and the people that make it such a lovely town. His all about the music show aims to please listeners for all genres, eras and artists. Keeping it all about the music and the listeners, Seth is very proud to be part of the Lasar Radio team and looks forward to engaging with the lovely people of Leek and surrounding areas.|

|Dave brings his considerable “Live” broadcasting experience to the station along with his extensive music repertoire.
Well known throughout the Moorlands district he will be interviewing local dignitaries, community groups etc. to bring a wide and interesting aspect to his shows whilst maintaining the Community link.
Join Dave Monday to Fridays from 7-10am
As Station Manager he will, among other duties, use his past experience to train and mentor new recruits ready for broadcasting their own shows.
|Hi folks. I’ve been a DJ since i was 14. where i started at Millward Hall Youth club along with my long-time friend Dave Fuller. I worked at the Three Horse Shoes for 33 years as their resident DJ. I’ve also worked on a few radio stations in the Staffordshire Moorlands. Now I’m very pleased to be on Lasar Radio. I love most music, but my big love is Modern New Country Music, this is the show I love doing. Its new fresh up to date country music, it’s not what you think it is. I`ll also be helping out with other shows. I look forward to converting people to new country music on Sundays at 12 noon.|

|Lisa joins Lasar Radio with absolutely no radio experience at all, this is pure community radio, giving anyone the chance to be presenters or be associated with a community project, Lisa will be delivering her mid-morning show Monday to Friday 10am-1pm. Lisa said: “I’m very excited and happy to be joining team Lasar it’s a fantastic way to start the New Year, I’m really looking forward to working with you all, presenters and listeners alike”.||Nathan is also new to radio, Nath will be Lasar Radio`s sports show presenter, Talking Sport.
Nath has an extensive sporting background which he will bring into his show as he covers all the local football, rugby, cricket and anything major that’s going on in Lasar Land, national sport will also be covered, so you won’t miss a thing between 2and 6pm on a Saturday.
|Neil Woodley is a businessman with wide experience in many fields mostly communications related. Having travelled extensively on business and leisure, he brings a wide repertoire of anecdotes to the station. Wooders lives in Cheddleton and has embraced the community, contributing wherever he can and supporting local running and orienteering sports groups. With his distinctive voice (yes, he’s not from Staffordshire but don’t tell anyone), Neil brings a very different aspect to the station with his background in electronics engineering and RF.|
