A 19-year old man is due in court charged with dangerous driving following the death of 14-year-old Jak Griffiths.
Liam Williams, of Leek, is also accused of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, causing death while driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, and causing death while uninsured.
Jak, of Moorland Road, Cheddleton, died after a crash involving a Vauxhall Nova and a red Massey Ferguson tractor on the A53 Leek Road, near Endon, on June 20.
A 17-year-old passenger was also injured in the collision.
Williams is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on February 16.
An inquest into Jak’s death has been adjourned until April 21.
