Tuesday Sport: Port Vale owner rejects offers for relegated club

PORT VALE owner Norman Smurthwaite has rejected two offers to purchase the League Two club.

Burslem-based Synectics Solutions and a consortium led by Kidsgrove businessman Kevin Jones have each bid £1.2 million for the Burslem-based.

Smurthwaite bought the club with his then business partner Paul Wildes for £1.2 million in November 2012 to take it out of administration.
