LEEK Town are expected to attract their biggest big crowd of the season for the visit of Kettering Town in the first qualifying round of the Buildbase FA Trophy trophy today (Oct 28).
It would be no more than Blues deserved after their record 9-0 away win at Lincoln United in the Evo-stilk Northern Premier League Division One South last weekend.
The attendance is expected be boosted by a sizeable following of Kettering fans cheering on the Southern League Premier Division high-flyers.
Leek have a score to settle with the Poppies being knocked out of the FA Cup by them in the qualifying stages last season, the visitors grabbing a dramatic late winner in a 3-2 win.
Sam Grimshaw, pictured, could be in contention for a place in Blues squad after injury, having come on for the last 14 minutes of the Lincoln rout without any problems.
Grimshaw has been sidelined by an ankle injury he suffered in the pre-season friendly at Buxton.
Dan Shelley could also be considered after returning to training following a thigh injury sustained during the win at Gresley in September.
Fans are advised to arrive early for today’s game in order to avoid possible congestion at the turnstiles.

The Blues Babes stand fourth unbeaten in the Division One North table, six points behind table-toppers Sutton Coldfield Town but with two games in hand on the pacesetters..
Florence firmly rooted at the bottom of the table after collecting just one point from their seven league starts.
