STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY SENIOR LEAGUE

Last night’s (Feb 14) scheduled League Challenge Cup semi-final between Premier Division rivals Leek CSOB and Wolstanton United was postponed because of the weather.

The tie was switched to Newcastle Town FC because Leek’s pitch at Pointon Park was waterlogged. But the Newcastle ground to suffered a similar fate as a result of the abysmal weather refusing to relent.

Staffordshire County Senior League are away to the York League in the third round of the FA Inter League Cup this Saturday.

The game is being played at Harrogate Tiown FC and the winners will meet the Essex & Suffolk Border County League or the Kent County League in the next round on March 24.
