Friday Sport: Rocester end winless run away to Shawbury

ROCESTER FC ended their winless league run stretching back to November with a 2-1 victory away to Shawbury United last night.

Goals from Tom Brown (40 mins) and Ollie Roome (55) earned the Romans an overdue Premier Division victory.

On the same night Uttoxeter Town suffered heartache in Divison One, when they fell to an added time goal netted by Heather St Johns by Ben Minshull.

Leading scorer James Curley (52 mins and 73 mins) gave Uttoxeter a 2-1 lead after Simeon Cobourne put the visitors head in the 29th minute.

Cobourne scored again to level after 82 minutes before Minshull struck with his 91st minute winner.
