Stop Talking has got racing trainer Jennie shouting with joy

STOP Talking was a popular winner over jumps at Southwell for Jennie Candlish’s Basford Grange racing stables today.

The six-year-old mare was ridden to victory in the conditional jockeys’ handicap hurdle by Jonjo O’Neill jnr, son of successful jockey-turned-trainer Jonjo O’Neill snr.

Jono junior has a long way to go matching his father’s 900 winners in the saddle – including the unique Champion Hurdle and Gold Cup double achieved by the legendary Dawn Run at Cheltenham – but the youngster is tipped to have a bright future ahead of him.

Stop Talking was Jonjo junior’s second win in three days following his success on-board Palmers Hill at Cheltenham on Sunday.
