An invitation to have your say on health services in the Staffordshire Moorlands

FAMIIES in the Staffordshire Moorlands have two opportunities on their own doorstep to have their say on the future of community healthcare in the district.

Two consultation events are being held in the district about controversial plans to change the way community services and beds are used through a series of ‘care hubs.’

Marcus Warnes, accountable officer for the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent clinical Commissioning Groups, said: “We believe the suggested model will help us offer safe, high-quality services close to where people live.”

The events are on:

Thursday, anuary 24: St Edward’s CE Academy, Leek.

Monday, February 25: Manor Hotel, Cheadle.

Both events will take place from 7pm until 9pm. Book a place at or call 0782 298002.
