Police release four people pending further enquiries into Hanley sudden death

DETECTIVES investigating the sudden death of a man in Stoke-on-Trent, on Thursday night, have released four people under investigation.

Emergency services were called to an address on Wainwright Walk, Hanley, at around 7.25pm, where they discovered the body of a 47-year-old man.

Following a post-mortem examination, further enquiries are taking place to establish the cause of death. At this time the incident is not believed to be suspicious, and formal identification will take place early next week.

Three men aged 45, 37 and 27, and a woman, aged 47, all from Stoke-on-Trent, arrested in connection with the death have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
