Cheddleton is ready to take the road to Haydock Park for a horseracing debut

Trainer Jennie Candlish has prepared newcomer Cheddleton for a race Haydock Park .

A RACEHORSE named after a Staffordshire Moorlands village makes its debut at tomorrow’s (March 20) Haydock Park meeting.
The four-year-old gelding Cheddleton is entered in the concluding 1m7f Hermitage Green Standard Open National Hunt flat race on the card.
Cheddleton was sired by the stallion Shirocco out of the dam Over Sixty and is owned by Mr P and Mrs G A Clarke.
The 60,000 Euros-purchase is trained by Jennie Candlish, at Basford Grange stables, which look out over the village of Cheddleton.
