A MESMERSING performance from winger David Amoo set up Port Vale for a 2-1 victory at Harrison Park in front of a 1,000-pus attendance.
Vale’s new signing from Cambridge United looked most impressive and capped a match-winning display with his side’s second goal in the 77th minute.

Amoo came close to giving Vale the lead just five minutes in after former Blues star Dan Trickett-Smith played a clever ball over the top of his former teammates at the back.
Tom Pope gave Vale a 1-0 half-time lead by opening the scoring for the visitors after 19 minutes.
The Vale striker seized on a misdirected headed back pass from Niall Green to find the back of the Leek net.
Six minutes later Pope almost made hit 2-0 when he struck the bar after being fed by Amoo.
The dangerous Amoo thoroughly deserved his second half goal, squeezing the ball under the Leek keeper, after posing a threat to the home defence throughout.
He was replaced 12 minutes from time by Lucas Green-Birch.
Aaron Bott pulled back a consolation goal for Blues in the 86th minute.
