Wheels in motion to get better rural bus services in the Staffordshire Moorlands

WHEELS have been set in motion to get villages in the Staffordshire Moorlands better served by public transport.
Some villages claim to have been left isolated by cuts made to bus subsidies introduced by Staffordshire County Council twelve months ago.
District council leader Sybil Ralphs is gathering information from parish councils about how villages are being affected by loss of services.
Coun Ralphs said: “We are looking at services first thing in the morning to enable people to get to work and appointments and also for students to get to college.”
